TRANSTAR, LLC SAVINGS PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- Participants may contribute up to 100% of eligible earnings as pretax savings or after tax savings in the form of Roth 401(k) contributions.
- The Plan permits additional elective deferrals (catchup contributions) to be made by any Plan participant who is age 50 or older by the close of the Plan year.
- Pursuant to the terms of various collective bargaining agreements, the Company matches represented employee contributions to the Plan, up to a maximum per annum per employee, between $750 and $2,250, as determined by the individual union and collective bargaining agreement.
- Nonrepresented salaried employee contributions are matched dollar-for-dollar up to a maximum of 6% of eligible earnings.
- Participants are fully vested in their employee contributions, rollover contributions and any earnings thereon. Their nonelective employer contributions and certain employer matching contributions based on date of hire and union contract, and any earnings thereon, vest based on the following schedule: Years of Vesting Service
