SAES SMA 401(K) PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- Each year, participants may contribute an amount up to a certain percentage of their pretax annual compensation, as defined in the Plan.
- Participants who have attained the age of 50 before the end of the Pan year are eligible to make catch-up contributions as prescribed by Treasury regulations.
- The Plan provides for automatic enrollment for all newly eligible employees.
- Unless the employee elects otherwise, 5% of the employee’s eligible earnings will be deferred into the Plan.
- The Plan has automatic escalation of 1% each year until a maximum of 10% is reached for those employees who were automatically enrolled into the Plan.
- The Company has elected to make safe harbor employer matching contributions in an amount equal to 100% on the first 3% of eligible compensation, plus 50% of elective deferrals that exceeds 3% of compensation up to 5% that a participant contributes to the Plan.
- Participants are immediately vested in their voluntary contributions, employer contributions and any actual earnings thereon.
