MOBIS-ALABAMA 401(K) PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies

  • Every pay period, participants may make pre-tax contributions and/or Roth contributions up to 100% of his or her eligible compensation, as defined in the Plan.
  • Eligible employees who do not make an affirmative election to participate or not to participate, were automatically enrolled in the Plan at 2% ("Default Percentage") of eligible compensation, which increase 1% per year until the total deferral is 5% of eligible compensation.
  • Participants may opt out of contributing at any time.
  • Participants who have attained age 50 before the end of the Plan year are eligible to make catch-up contributions up to $7,500 in 2024.
  • The Company makes a discretionary matching contribution.
  • Each year, the Company will determine the formula for the discretionary matching contribution equal to a uniform percentage or dollar amount of employee elective deferrals.
  • Until the end of the first quarter of 2024, the Company contributed 60% of the first 5% of the employee contribution.
  • Effective April 1, 2024, the matching contribution formula was revised to provide 100% of the first 4% of eligible compensation.
  • Participants are always 100% fully vested in their elective deferrals and rollover contributions, plus actual earnings thereon. Each participant whose employment terminates for any reason other than death, disability, attainment of normal retirement age, is entitled to a non-forfeitable right to his or her employer contribution accounts based on the following schedule: Vesting Years of Service
