HTNA RETIREMENT SAVINGS PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- Each year, participants may contribute up to a dollar amount set by law of up to 100% pretax annual compensation, as defined in the Plan.
- Participants who have attained age 50 before the end of the plan year are eligible to make catch-up contributions.
- Participants may also contribute amounts representing distributions from other qualified defined benefit or contribution plans (rollover contributions).
- The Plan has automatic enrollment where participants, unless they opt out, enter the Plan upon achieving eligibility deferring 6% of eligible compensation.
- On July 1, 2018, the Plan was amended to add an automatic increase in the deferral rate each year by 1% until the deferral rate equals 10%.
- The Company makes matching contributions of 50% of the employee deferrals that are not in excess of 6% of eligible compensation.
- Vesting schedule:
- 1-20 years: 2%
- 4-80 years: 5%
