ENDICOTT COLLEGE DC RETIREMENT PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- The VSRP permits eligible employees to voluntarily defer a portion of their salary on a pre-tax basis.
- Participants eligible for the EMCP are automatically enrolled at a rate of 2% of their compensation unless directed otherwise by the participant.
- Plan participants receive an employer contribution from the College equal to 6% of their compensation under the VSRP.
- Under the EMCP, participants voluntarily contributing at least 2% of their compensation receive an additional College contribution of 2% of base pay (bonuses, overtime and stipends are excluded from the College’s contributions), not to exceed the maximum annual contribution allowed by the Internal Revenue Service ("IRS").
- Participants contributing 1% of their compensation receive an additional College contribution of 1% of their base pay.
- Participants are immediately vested in all contributions plus earnings thereon.
