- Participants may begin deferring into the plan on the first day of each month.
- Participants that make their contribution election may defer up to 100% of their eligible compensation, limited by requirements of the IRC.
- Upon reaching the age of 50, eligible employees may make additional catch-up contributions as allowed by the IRC.
- The plan includes an automatic enrollment feature whereby new employees are enrolled at a 6% deferral rate unless they choose not to participate or choose a different deferral percentage.
- The plan allows for matching contributions at the discretion of the Plan Administrator.
- Participants must be employed on the last day of the plan year to receive the matching contribution.
- The Company may make additional contributions to the Plan at the discretion of the Company’s board of directors, subject to the limits of the IRC.
- Discretionary additional contributions made during 2024 and 2023 were at the lessor of 6% or 50% of contributed 401k deferrals up to a maximum of $3,000.
- Participants are fully vested at all times in the portion of their accounts attributable to their own contributions, employee contributions, and any earnings thereon.
