  • Prior to the Plan merger, the Plan was a contributory plan whereby an employee who elected to participate could contribute a percentage of the employee’s compensation up to 60 percent of the employee’s compensation.
  • Participants also could contribute amounts representing distributions from other qualified defined benefit or defined contribution plans (rollover).
  • The Plan included an auto-enrollment provision whereby all newly eligible employees were automatically enrolled in the Plan unless they affirmatively elected not to participate in the Plan.
