CARE FOR U PLUS 401(K) PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- Employees may voluntarily contribute up to 100% of their compensation on a pretax or post tax basis (Roth), limited to $23,000 in 2024 and $22,500 in 2023, as prescribed by the Internal Revenue Code (IRC).
- Participants age 50 and older may elect to make additional catch-up contributions of $7,500 in 2024 and 2023.
- The Plan also includes safe harbor employer matching contributions equal to 100% of the first 3% and 50% on the next 2% of each participant’s elective deferrals to the Plan.
- For the years ended December 31, 2024 and 2023, employer safe harbor contributions were $175,885 and $161,192, respectively.
- The Company elected out of making discretionary employer contributions for both years.
- Participants are immediately vested in their elective deferrals, employer safe harbor matching contributions, employer discretionary contributions and the earnings thereon.
