WEATHERFORD INTERNATIONAL, LLC 401(K) SAVINGS PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- An eligible employee may elect to contribute by payroll deductions to the Plan on a pre-tax and/or Roth basis subject to certain limitations, up to 50 percent and on an after-tax basis, up to 16 percent of his or her considered compensation, as defined by the Plan.
- The Plan Sponsor automatically deducts and contributes 3 percent of considered compensation as a pre-tax contribution for each newly eligible employee who has not voluntarily elected a salary deferral.
- Additionally, participants with a pre-tax contribution rate between 1 percent and 5 percent will have their rate increased automatically by 1 percent annually, up to a maximum of 6 percent, unless they elect to opt out of the automatic escalation.
- Employees who are eligible to make elective deferrals under the Plan and who have attained age 50 prior to the end of the Plan year are permitted to make catch-up contributions subject to applicable Internal Revenue Service limitations.
- The Plan Sponsor makes matching contributions equal to 100 percent of the participant’s pre-tax and/or Roth contributions up to 4 percent of considered compensation on a plan year basis.
- Participants are immediately vested in their elective deferral, rollover contributions from other qualified plans, and the Plan Sponsor’s matching and discretionary contributions.
