UNISPACE 401(K) PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- Participants may make pre-tax or post-tax contributions from their annual compensation, up to amounts permissible under ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code.
- Participants who have attained age 50 before the end of the plan year are eligible to make catch-up contributions.
- Eligible participants may defer up to 100% of their annual compensation, as defined in the Plan, as a qualified contribution subject to maximum annual dollar contribution restrictions of ERISA and the Internal Revenue Service.
- Participants may also contribute amounts representing distributions from other qualified defined benefit or contribution plans.
- Effective January 1, 2018, the Plan initiated automatic enrollment for eligible participants equal to 3% of employee’s compensation.
- Safe harbor contributions equal to 100% of salary deferrals that do not exceed 3% of compensation plus 50% of salary deferrals between 3% to 5%.
- Participants are immediately vested in their contributions, plus actual earnings thereon, and all safe harbor and profit sharing contributions.
