PRAIRIE MEADOWS RACETRACK & CASINO EMPLOYEE 401(K) SAVINGS PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- Participants may elect to contribute up to 70% of their compensation, as defined in the Plan document, to the Plan each year.
- Such contributions are excluded from the participant’s taxable income for federal income tax purposes until received as a withdrawal or distribution from the Plan.
- The Plan includes an auto-enrollment provision whereby all newly eligible employees are automatically enrolled in the Plan unless they affirmatively elect not to participate in the Plan.
- Automatically enrolled participants have their deferral rate set at 4.5% of eligible compensation and their contributions invested in a designated balanced fund until changed by the participant.
- Participants who have attained age 50 before the end of the Plan year are eligible to make catch-up contributions; these additional contributions are ineligible for a matching contribution.
- Prairie Meadows makes a matching contribution to each participant’s account.
- Prairie Meadows will make matching contributions up to 4.5% of the participant’s eligible compensation, as defined in the Plan document.
- Prior to October 1, 2024: Vesting schedule: After 2 years of service: 20% Each year thereafter: 20% After 6 years of service: 100% Effective October 1, 2024 (amended vesting provisions): Vesting schedule: After 2 years of service: 25% Each year thereafter: 25% After 5 years of service: 100%
