KYO-YA MANAGEMENT COMPANY, LTD. 401(K) PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- Contributions by employees are voluntary and shall not exceed the greater of 50% of pretax annual compensation, as defined in the Plan, or the maximum allowed as a deduction under the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended ("IRC").
- Eligible or rehired participants who do not opt out are subject to an automatic contribution arrangement, whereby said participants are automatically enrolled in the Plan at a contribution percentage of 2% of their eligible compensation, which will automatically increase by 1% annually on the first day of the plan year until their deferral rate reaches 6%.
- Effective February 8, 2023, the Plan was amended to provide fixed employer matching contributions of 100% of the first 4%, plus 50% of the next 2% of each employee’s elective contribution.
