JRM CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT 401(K) PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- Each year, participants may contribute a percentage of their eligible annual compensation, as defined in the Plan, provided that such contributions do not exceed the limitations under the IRC for 2024 of $23,000, plus a maximum of $7,500 in catch-up contributions for participants who have attained age 50 before the end of the Plan year.
- The Plan includes an auto-enrollment provision where all newly eligible employees are automatically enrolled in the Plan unless they affirmatively elect not to participate in the Plan.
- Participants are automatically enrolled and have their deferral rate set at 2% for the period January 1, 2024 to January 31, 2024 and 3% for the period February 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024 of eligible compensation and their contributions are invested in a designated balanced fund until changed by the participant.
- Participants are eligible for discretionary matching contributions upon the first day of calendar month of completion of three months of service beginning on the date of hire.
- For the year ended December 31, 2024, the Sponsor made a discretionary matching contribution totaling $834,806, net of forfeitures, which was funded in April 2025.
- Participants are immediately vested in their contributions plus actual earnings thereon.
- Vesting in the Sponsor’s contribution portion of their accounts is based on years of continuous service as follows: Years of Service Vesting Percentage Less than three 0% Three or more 100% In addition, a participant becomes 100% vested in all allocated Sponsor contributions upon death, disability or the attainment of age 65 while employed by the Sponsor.
