JACKSON GROUP PETERBILT, INC. 401(K) RETIREMENT PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- Each year, participants may elect to contribute up to the maximum amount of compensation allowed by Code Sections 402(g) and 414(v) not to exceed the limits of Code Sections 401(k), 404, and 415 (for 2024 the limit is $23,000).
- Participants who have attained age 50 before the end of the Plan year are eligible to make catch-up contributions of up to $7,500 for 2024.
- Effective October 1, 2016, the Plan includes an automatic deferral provision.
- Participants subject to the automatic deferral provision defer 5% of compensation for each payroll period with an automatic escalation of the deferral percentage of 1% of compensation per year (on the first day of each Plan year) up to a maximum of 8% of compensation.
- During 2024, the Company made discretionary matching contributions.
- Matching contributions are allocated to active non-highly compensated participant accounts at the lesser of 50% of the employee’s contribution into the Plan during the quarter of up to 4% of compensation, for a match of up to 2% of compensation, or $1,000.
