HOPE COLLEGE INVEST PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- Each year, participants may elect to defer up to the dollar limit set by Federal law.
- The Plan utilizes the auto-enrollment process whereby eligible employees that do not make an affirmative election nor elect to waive participation will be enrolled with a 6% pre-tax deferral rate with 1% annual increases up to a maximum of 10%.
- Participants can also make after-tax contributions to the Plan.
- Participants who have reached the age of 50 before the end of the Plan year are eligible to make additional catch-up contributions.
- The Employer makes a fixed non-elective contribution of 9% of eligible compensation for all eligible participants, as defined in the Plan agreement.
- Participants are immediately vested in their voluntary contributions and Employer non-elective contributions plus earnings thereon.
