- Each year, participants may elect to contribute a portion of their compensation, subject to certain maximum limitations imposed by Section 402(g) of the IRC.
- Participants who have attained age 50 before the end of the Plan year are eligible to make catch-up contributions.
- The Plan has an automatic enrollment provision (6% salary deferral) whereby employees must elect out of the Plan if they do not wish to participate.
- The Company makes a safe harbor matching contribution of 100% of the participant’s deferral up to 3% of compensation plus 50% of deferrals from the next 2% of compensation.
- Participants are immediately 100% vested in their elective deferrals including catch-up contributions, rollover contributions from other plans, and actual earnings thereon.
- The method for crediting vesting service for Company safe harbor and profit-sharing contributions is based on vesting years of service.
- Participants are credited with a year of service for each year in which 1,000 hours are worked.
