HCR MANORCARE RETIREMENT SAVINGS 401(K) PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies

  • The Plan currently allows participants to contribute up to 75 percent of their annual compensation on a pretax or Roth basis subject to maximum tax-deferred limitations established by the Internal Revenue Code.
  • For the plan years ended December 31, 2024 and 2023, employer matching contributions were calculated based on 50 percent of the participant’s contribution, not to exceed 2 percent of the employee’s eligible compensation.
  • Participants are immediately 100 percent vested in employee salary and rollover contributions and any income or loss thereon. Vesting in the Company’s contribution portion of their accounts, plus actual earnings thereon, is based on years of service. Participants vest in contributions made by the Company 20 percent after two years of service, an additional 20 percent after the third year of service, and another 20 percent per year thereafter until they become fully vested after six years of service.
