HAM-TMC LIBRARY 403(B) DC PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- All eligible employees are required to make a mandatory pre-tax employee contribution in the amount of 1.5% of their compensation once the employee satisfies the eligibility requirements.
- Participants also may elect to contribute additional amounts up to 100% of their compensation, as defined by the Plan, subject to annual dollar limitations under the Internal Revenue Code (the Code).
- Participants aged 50 and older may elect to make additional catch-up contributions which increase the annual limitations they can contribute each year.
- For all eligible employees, the Library makes an employer contribution equal to 8.5% of the participant’s compensation.
- Participants are immediately 100% vested in all contributions plus actual earnings thereon.
