CAPSTONE CONCEPTS 401(K) PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- Eligible participants are automatically enrolled in the Plan unless they affirmatively elect not to participate.
- Automatically enrolled participants have their deferral rate set at 4% of eligible compensation unless changed by the participant.
- Participants may elect to contribute to the Plan, through salary reduction, a percentage of their eligible compensation for the Plan year up to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) limit.
- Participants who have attained age 50 before the end of the Plan year are eligible to make catch-up contributions up to $7,500 and $6,500 for 2024 and 2023, respectively.
- Capstone may also make a discretionary matching contribution to the Plan for eligible employees.
- No discretionary matching contribution was made in 2024 or 2023.
- Participants are immediately vested in their elective deferral and rollover contributions plus actual earnings thereon.
