BANC OF CALIFORNIA, INC. 401(K) PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- Participants may contribute up to 100 percent of annual compensation in pre-tax deferrals or Roth deferrals, or the lesser of up to 10 percent of annual compensation or $25,000 in after-tax contributions, as defined in the Plan document and allowed by law.
- Participants may also roll over amounts representing distributions from other qualified plans.
- The Plan permits catch-up contributions for participants who have attained age 50 by the end of the Plan year.
- The Plan also provides for automatic election of participant pre-tax contributions at a rate of 2 percent of compensation.
- Participants may affirmatively elect a different deferral percentage or elect not to defer into the Plan.
- Unless affirmatively elected otherwise, the deferral elections of automatically enrolled participants will be increased by 1 percent of compensation annually, not to exceed 4 percent of compensation.
- Participants are immediately vested in all contributions plus actual earnings thereon.
- Certain participants, who were merged into the Plan as part of the Plan Merger discussed in Note 1c.
- Plan Description – Plan Merger, vest in the pre-merger company contribution portion of their accounts plus actual earnings thereon based on years of credited service, as follows: Vesting schedule: Credited Service Percent Vested 1 year 20% 2 years 40% 3 years 60% 4 years 80% 5 years or more 100%
