ALPHIA, INC. 401(K) PLAN Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- Participants may contribute up to 100% of their pretax annual compensation, as defined in the Plan.
- Participants who have attained age 50 before the end of the Plan year are eligible to make catch-up contributions.
- The Plan document also includes an automatic deferral feature whereby a participant is treated as electing to defer a percentage of eligible compensation unless the participant made an affirmative election otherwise.
- For the year ended December 31, 2024, the automatic deferral percentage was 3%.
- The deferral percentages for eligible participants increase by 1% each January 1, until their deferral percentage reaches 10%.
- The Company makes a safe harbor matching contribution of up to 8% of the participant’s pretax annual compensation, as defined in the Plan.
- Participants are vested immediately in their contributions and the employer safe harbor matching contributions, plus actual earnings thereon. Vesting in the Company’s discretionary contributions portion of their account is based on years of continuous service, according to the following schedule. A participant is 100% vested after six years of credited service. Years of service:
