403(B) THRIFT PLAN OF FAMILIES FORWARD Contribution, Match and Other Plan Policies
- Participants may make Elective Deferral Contributions up to the maximum dollar amount established by the IRC of pretax annual compensation ($23,000 in 2024), as defined in the Plan.
- Participants aged 50 and older may make catch-up contributions to a maximum dollar amount established by the IRC.
- During 2024, a participant’s catch-up contributions for the plan year may not exceed $7,500.
- Participants may elect to designate all or any portion of their Elective Deferral Contributions as Roth Elective Deferrals.
- The Plan Sponsor shall make safe harbor base contributions equal to 3% of eligible compensation and makes discretionary matching contributions of up to 4% of eligible compensation, for a maximum employer contribution of up to 7% of eligible compensation.
- Participants are vested immediately in their contributions plus actual earnings thereon.
- Participants are vested immediately in the Employer’s contribution portion of their accounts.
