GS FundX ETF incl Emerging Mkt 16 EFT WGH
I was trying to compare several of the Goldman Sachs Global Tactical Asset Allocation strategies and looked up :ViewPortfolio.action?ID=6,587 . This is the portfolio in the subject line of this topic.
Strangely enough, it only seems to be updated through the middle of last year. When you chart the performance of this fund versus several others it acts strangely, starting and stopping about a year before the other funds.
Is this a bug or is something else going on? Interested in pursuing this because the strategy seems to return stellar results.

This portfolio was created by a user. Somehow it was made to be public by the user. But it has been inactive for a while. Sorry.Admin · 11/18/2014 21:13:56

Well, I guess this brings up a second question. There is a page detailing several variants of the Goldman Sachs Global Tactical Asset Allocation strategy (View.action?ID=445). Was this written by the MYPlanIQ staff or a user??shanaw · 11/19/2014 14:10:31
In general how can I distinguish between user plans and articles and official MyPlanIq plans and articles when there is no apparent 'author' attribution that I can find??
I hate to spend time searching for plans that don't actually exist.

In general, all of the strategies are written by MyPlanIQ staff. But some of public portfolios are customized by users. In this case, the portfolio uses Goldman Sachs Global Tactical Asset Allocation Strategy, which is written by MyPlanIQ and it is the one used for ALL variants of portfolios including those listed on Advanced Strategies page. This portfolio was customized to use different funds.Admin · 11/20/2014 13:26:41
In terms of officially supported MyPlanIQ portfolios, they should be really those listed on our webpages. Portfolios mentioned in our newsletters are not necessarily supported unless there is a request. They are more for illustration and research purpose.
