Substitute mutual funds for Schwab OneSource Tactical Plan
Hi. I just did the initial setup and purchase for the Tacitcal Allocation portfolio implemented using the Schwab One Source mutual fund choices.
There was one problem: the specified allocation to international bonds, in this case thte Laudus Mondrian fund, was not possible because the fund is closed to new investors. I'm sure this will not be the only time this occurs and its not a big problem provided there is an alternative selection available. To that end, if the email specifing the funds at each monthly rebalancing could contain alternative selections as substitutes for each of the primary selections, that would be helpful. Also, is there somewhere on the myplaniq site that deals with how to make substitutions should this occur? Thanks.
