Changed subscription - pro rated refund status

Hello - On April 11th, I followed the instructions on this site to change my subscription plan so that I would received a pro rated refund on the previous plan after cancelling and then subscribing to the new plan. I don't see the refund in PayPal. Do I need to wait longer or is there another step? Thanks.
