Reg. Vanguard Balanced Fund Max Drawdown
Hi - I checked the VBINX max drawdown and it is shown as 32%.
To verify this, I drilled down to the annual metrics,and found that this was in 2019.
I think this is a mistake because 2019 was not a volatile year.
VBINX returned 21.7% in 2019.
Could u please confirm if the Drawdown was 32% in 2019?

Hi, you are right, there was a steep loss on 8/12/2019. We are still investigating and believe it was due to data corruption. We have fixed it. Regardless, the biggest drawdown of VBINX is 36% that happened from 2008-2009. Thank you for letting us know.Admin · 04/29/2021 14:57:14
