Rethinking high yield bond funds as an asset class
In reference to the 6/9 newsletter article on this subject, in the future, if a rebalance calls for a high yield bond fund (and, of course one is available in a given plan), will the MP algy now select a combo of a small cap fund + a treasury bond fund in lieu of the high yield fund?

Our algorithm won't automatically do that as that will shut off these funds completely. However, the best way to deal with this is to avoid using these funds in a candidate list or in a plan.Admin · 06/10/2015 15:16:24

Or if a high yield bond is indicated to purchase, one could (should?) purchase the indicated amount, 70% intermediate treasury and 30% small cap blend instead. Isn't that what the article concludes?DanH111 · 07/25/2015 19:00:53
